Hi! We’re Alexia & Quentin, a couple who are passionate about travel… and especially about safaris in Africa.
Our thing is to seek out lodges that stand out from the crowd: the ones with real character, a story to tell, and a warm, genuine welcome.
Alexia – Africa as My Childhood Home
I grew up in Africa: first in South Africa, then in Togo, and finally in Morocco.
With a mom who has always lived there and a dad who moved there at age 24, this continent is part of who I am.
That’s also where I discovered my passion for wildlife photography. Photographing a lion at sunset, a rare bird, or a giraffe among the acacia trees is my way of keeping a piece of Africa with me.
Quentin – Africa: A Natural Choice
Ever since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by nature and animals. Watching documentaries, I was already dreaming of Africa and its vast open spaces.
Originally from a small Swiss town, I was lucky enough to travel to Tanzania, Zambia, and South Africa several times before I even met Alexia.
Observing animals in their natural habitat, discovering breathtaking landscapes, and experiencing the warmth and culture of the local people—that’s what makes every trip to Africa unique for me.

At AQ Tracks & Lodges, our mission is clear: to discover and share Africa’s true hidden gems.
We travel across the continent in search of authentic lodges, immersive safari experiences, and unique encounters. Our way of traveling is to never stay in one place for too long: every two days, we move to a new lodge. This allows us to discover different atmospheres—from rustic camps deep in the bush to high-end lodges, as well as intimate ecolodges and safari tents.
This pace gives us a more complete and accurate picture of what Africa has to offer. Above all, we seek out places with soul—where the welcome is sincere and where you feel a genuine connection with nature and the people who work there.
Through our stories, photos, and firsthand accounts, we want to share these unique destinations, but also be transparent about the pitfalls to avoid. Because between advertisements, conflicting reviews, and offers that are too good to be true, it’s not always easy for a traveler to navigate all this information.
Our commitment is simple: to provide honest, clear, and useful information to inspire and guide those who dream of discovering Africa in a different way.
